REPAIRS
Maintenance stays on the rental record
A tenant who has been invited can describe a problem, add photos, and follow the status. The landlord sees the same request on that property. RentalNoodle does not dispatch a contractor, and it does not accept repair requests from renters whose landlord is not on the account.
In the product
- Tenants open Maintenance in the portal after they are on the lease.
- Landlords update status and keep the repair history with the property.
- Move-in and move-out inspections are a separate record, not a work order.
Questions
Can I submit a repair request without an invitation?
No. Maintenance requests are part of the tenant portal. Your landlord has to add you to the rental first.
What does the landlord see?
The request, your description, photos you attach, and the status they set as the work moves along. The history stays on that property.
Does this page decide who must fix something?
No. The lease and local rules decide responsibility. The public guide on tenant and landlord maintenance is a checklist, not a legal ruling.
