FOR TENANTS
Pay rent only when your landlord uses RentalNoodle
Sign in to the tenant portal your landlord invited you to. If they have turned on online payments, you can pay the recorded rent by ACH. If they have not, you still see the due date and any payments they record. You cannot send rent to a landlord who does not have a RentalNoodle account.
What actually happens
- Your landlord adds the rental and the lease, then invites you.
- You sign in and open the rent page for that lease.
- ACH is available only after the landlord connects Stripe.
- Autopay starts only if you turn it on.
Questions
Can I pay rent on RentalNoodle if I found the site myself?
No. Online payment is inside a tenant portal that your landlord opens. RentalNoodle is not a public bill-pay service for any rental.
What payment methods work?
When your landlord finishes Stripe Connect setup, you can pay by ACH from the tenant portal. Autopay runs only after you opt in. Card payments are not supported. Your landlord can also record a payment you made another way.
Does RentalNoodle add a fee to my rent?
RentalNoodle does not add an ACH platform fee. Your bank or Stripe may charge their own processing fee. The rent amount is the amount your landlord recorded.
